The Karnataka State President of Lok Paritran, Mr. B.T. Naganna, faced an unusual problem when he went to file his nomination papers on Monday, the 21st of April. The officer in charge claimed that there was no party called Lok Paritran in his list of registered parties. This is all the more strange because three other candidates of Lok Paritran had already filed their nominations successfully. In spite of repeated attempts to convince the officer of the legitimacy of LP's existence he refused to budge from his position.
